
At Kita Noh Theatre in Tokyo, a special symposium and Noh performances will be held under the title “Kan’ei Gyoko (Imperial Visit to Nijo Castle in 1626) and Noh Theatre — Cultural Diplomacy That Brought the Warring States Period to an End —.”
Ms. Kanako Hamasaki, General Producer of the Kan’ei Gyoko 400th Anniversary Festival, will give a presentation on the Kan’ei Gyoko 400th Anniversary Festival. In the second part, a symposium will be held featuring Mr. Tadahiro Konoe, who created the logo mark for the Kan’ei Gyoko 400th Anniversary Festival and serves as its cultural supervisor, as well as Mr. Shimpei Matsuoka, who also appeared as a speaker at the Kan’ei Culture Lecture held in May.
