Explore the Kan’ei Culture Heritage Sites Stamp Rally

The Kan’ei Culture Heritage Sites Map introduces sites associated with Kan’ei culture throughout Kyoto City and the surrounding area.

A stamp rally featuring the locations on the map began on July 1 and will continue through March 2027.

Participants can choose from three themed courses:

  • Buildings Associated with Hidetada and Iemitsu
  • Gardens of Figures from Kan’ei Culture
  • Works of the Kano School

Stamp rally cards are available at venues hosting events organized as part of the 400th Anniversary of the Kan’ei Gyoko, as well as at participating temples and shrines.

The first 300 participants to collect stamps from all designated locations will receive a special commemorative castle seal (gojoin) marking the 400th Anniversary of the Kan’ei Gyoko.
