These illustrated maps introduce locations connected with the Kan’ei Gyoko (Imperial Visit to Nijo Castle in 1626) and the cultural flourishing known as Kan’ei Culture.
Two versions are available.
Map 1 highlights temples and shrines commonly visited by tourists that are associated with the Kan’ei period and the Gyoko.
Map 2 presents sites connected with leading cultural figures of the Kan’ei era.
