The Kan’ei Gyoko 400th Anniversary Festival was featured in the Kyoto Shimbun (March 6, 2026 edition).

The 2026 edition of “Kyō no Fuyu no Tabi” (Kyoto Winter Special Travel Program) will highlight the 400th anniversary of the Kan’ei Gyoko (Imperial Visit to Nijo Castle in 1626) and the Hanmantō Festival of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, accompanied by special public openings of important cultural properties.
